Does the girl have interest in me.?
I was introduced to a women by mutual friends…We chatted on the phone a couple of times and then had dinner…we ended in a good night kiss…we spoke on the phone again and she helped my purchase a gift for my firend’s baby son…we went mini golfing and to a movie and I even spent a weekday evening at her place watching tv with her and her bro…we chat on the phone and she mentions future dates and events months away that we will do together…however it has been three weekends in a row where she didn’t have the time to get together…she stilll calls and act like she is interested, however we never get together…what is going on? Is she jsut keeping me at bay while she plays the field? Is there someone else she is dating…or is she not interested?
You didn’t mention talking about being exclusive and it sounds too early in the relationship for either of you to make this commitment. But it definitely sounds as though she is still interested in you and enjoys your company. You are doing the right thing by not getting all inquisitive– but you know that her being busy may have nothing at all to do with another guy– could be family commitments, work schedule, previously planned stuff with friends– maybe someone is sick and needs care. She sounds independent and fun and you clearly like her, so give her the space she needs and see what unfolds—in the meantime make sure that you are taking care of your independent needs and relationships too.
