What kind of summer job can I get?
I am 13 and nead some money. There have been many household options for jobs in the neighborhood but I want to do something higher ranked. My mom is looking into getting me a job at the local golf course but I need backups. I live in california and am not comepletly sure on labor laws. Even if i am underage, is there a special permit i can get. Help Me out Here. 
when you are 13 or younger you can work as casual labor,
in casual labor you work for an individual in “their” home……..
You can mow lawns and other yard work(as casual labor only)
You can clean houses(as casual labor only)
You can wash cars(as casual labor only)
You can Tutor(as casual labor only)
You can work as a pet-sitter/dog-walker(as casual labor only)
You can assist the elderly.(as casual labor only)
You can work as a baby-sitter.(as casual labor only)

you can be gainfully employed at 13 doing the following:
You can deliver, or sell at a street stand, newspapers and periodicals (selling subscriptions is not allowed)
You can work as an actor or performer in motion pictures, television, theater or radio.
You can work in a business solely owned or operated by your parents.
You can work on a farm owned or operated by your parents.
