How to paint a white cast iron black object?
My husband did some work on a small wooden model ship. It has a tiny piece of metal white cast around that tries to paint black. He has tried several types of markers, scratch the surface first, and paints pattern. The white always shows through, even if it plunges the subject then takes it out, the paint just rolls off. I'm sure there's an answer very simple …. thank you in advance!
~ I would get a pot of paint Spary, matte black. They are now painting for plastic outside furniture which is smooth, the paint will hold. It is by Kryon but I am not sure of the name of the painting. It is safe to say furnitrue plastic. bet that would work. Aslos it is a marker pen called a slick writer. It is designed to be used on surfaces of a disease reg. marker will not join.
